Happy Turkey Day!

Ahh Thanksgiving. I think that Thanksgiving is such a bittersweet holiday. Sweet, because it is the start of the holiday season, the bad part is, that while playing touch football with my family all I wanted to do was hibernate until New Year's:) I ate to my heart's content and enjoyed every minute of it(while wearing my stretchy black jeans) with my family and other loved ones. Up above, I have a few pictures of the set-up and the beautiful turkey which was so well-made by my lovely Aunt Serena. One of me and my Grandma. The other picture is of my brother Tanner in the middle, and my cousins Brenna and Will. Below, is a picture of the intense huddle of the team I was playing against. They made many amazing plays, but unfortunately our team won by very many(I am too humble to note how many). This year I realized how everybody is getting so much bigger, time is flying, and I just want to bathe in the glory of my youth while I can. I am truly thankful for my friends and family.

Bottega Louie

Oh my gosh! I had such an amazing time the other night at Bottega Louie. I had never been there and neither had my best friend Molly. When we arrived, we realized how busy and active the place was. The whole restaurant and market was crowded with people and the line to talk with the hostess was unfathomable. But, since we made the trip to LA we decided we would give it a shot. As it was Saturday night, the hour long wait was doable, but we decided to sit in the bar. Our server was very attractive which added to the good time. It seemed to us that everybody that worked there had the criteria of being ridiculously good looking. When it came time to order we set our sights on dessert since we all had already eaten and were mostly there for macarons. We were really excited to try them. After ordering and eating our creme brulee and macarons we decided to hit the road. The picture of the three of us was taken by the valet, who was a real funny character. After, we decided we must see Harry Potter. I was seriously so excited to see it and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I can't wait to go back to Bottega Louie one day, maybe on a date, here's hoping!

"You don't have to feel like a waste of space, you're original, cannot be replaced, if you only knew what the future holds, after a hurricane comes a rainbow...-Katy Perry, Firework, my favorite song of the moment!

After a long week at work I am looking forward to a couple of things on Saturday. One thing, is that a couple of my dearest friends and I are planning on going to Bottega Louie in La to have an amazing time eating and chatting it up. We are hoping to enjoy some lovely Macarons for dessert. Then, we are planning on venturing toward the theater by our house to view Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1. I have been waiting for this moment since I finished watching The Half-Blood Prince on opening night, needless to say I am so excited. One of my friends accompanying me is also a blogger and is the reason I started one. So, you can conclude we will be taking as many photos as possible!

The Happiest Place on Earth..

On Sunday, I went to disneyland with my two brothers and my mom. We wanted to go for a little bit in the morning to go on a few rides and get lunch on the way home. I decided almost instantly that the teacups would be a fun addition to the blog. My younger brother and I spun around until we were sick and had the best time on the ride. Luckily enough, I got a picture with Alice and the Mad Hatter. They were walking around Main Street. Such a fun and interesting day. Thanks to my mom and older brother these lovely pictures were taken. It was such a warm and happy day.

The start of something new...

I have always been an avid social network user. I had a Myspace and a Facebook for a very long period of time in my life. I have come to realize that while these outlets are fun to chat with friends and long-lost relatives, it tends to be overbearing and quite frankly very annoying. I hope that in creating this blog  I can show my true passions in life which are very girly hobbies and life practices. I thoroughly enjoy having tea with friends, my mom, and anybody that will join me:) Having tea is so very classy and enticing. I have come to find myself with a small collection of tea cups, saucers, and teapots over the years. I find them in garage sales and estate sales. Anywhere I can find a random cup or saucer excites me. I also like to have tea during the holidays to gather my friends old and new.  I hope to continue my search and show you along the way.
